Doctorow on Copyright, von Lohmann on DRM
An abridgement of Cory Doctorow's speech "What's the Point of Copyright" and Fred von Lohmann's speech "DRM: What Is It Good For?", both originally delivered in November 2006.
The files were abridged to fit on a single audio CD for distribution at a rally to protest the proposed "Canadian DMCA", Bill C-61, at Industry Minister Jim Prentice's Stampede Breakfast, July 5th 2008.
Unabridged audio files for both speeches can be found at the bottom of the list.
My original source for Cory Doctorow's speech was: Craphound.com.
My original source for Fred von Lohmann's speech was: USC Center on Public Diplomacy.
